18-G-IV (Large Bore).

Specification of DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}-42 Stromberg Carburetter fitted.

Choke and fast idle device brought up to date.
R.S.100 asbestos washer fitted between carb. flange and induction manifold, .625" thick. [REDACTED] ball .312" dia. fitted to drain pipe near manifold approx. 3". Pipe can be inverted and thrown out of action.

Controls made to suit higher position of carb., and air silencer bend fitted temporarily.

Choke 1 1/4" dia.

Main metering jet .063.

Bypass jet .040 (drill size).

Main discharge tube with single feed hole 56.

Idle tube jet 64.

Pump jet 70 and set on maximum stroke.

Air bleed 70.

Seating .130, petrol level .625".

Diameter of pump link split pin increased from 1/32" to 1/16".

.312" dia. New aluminium ball fitted to mock up drain ar .025" lift.
