| HHI also 841 To Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}7/MH.{M. Huckerby}22.7.38. SERVO OPENING SPRING - B.III & 50. The springs ExS.825/6 are too strong and prevent the servo operating until a rather heavy load is applied to the pedal. Will you please obtain two springs of each number but in phosphor bronze, and ascertain the cost of these against the mild steel springs, in production quantities. If it is possible to make these springs in a thinner gauge of mild steel, say 33 gauge, (.010" thick) we should like to try a pair. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F.
