This car is in constant use and therefore no figure has been able to be obtained on oil and petrol consumptions yet. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} asked Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} to get hold of it for one day next week and check up brakes, fuel oil consumption and general condition. 25. INSTRUCTION OF ALUMINIUM 8-CYLINDER ENGINE. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. said that it would take him the best part of three weeks to finalise these instructions. The subject will be reviewed at the next Conference. 26. MYTH. The Myth pedals are nearly complete. Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} has handed over schemes of the front mounting to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. to detail. JD.{J. Draper - Frames} will line up the rear axle position. He also stated that they were well on with the hand brake lever design. The Morris gearbox will go in the car without difficulty and this should be issued to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. in a fortnight. The radiator has still to be settled with Marsden's. The shock absorbers are all detailed and the tank has been detailed. It was agreed that Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} should get out a specification for the first car and hand this to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. who will state how much time is required to produce the necessary detail drawings. No more Myth parts will be instructed for manufacture until this specification is complete. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C.
