Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X5410. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} re 20/25 Cars. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/El.1.32 Referring to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/MJ.19.12.31 relative to stiffer road springs and Hartford shock absorbers on the above, I asked Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} to explain this matter to me because I could not myself understand it. I attach two memos. from him. The second one was written because, having met Mr.Sopwith, who expressed surprise at having Hartford shock absorbers on his chassis, I asked Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} how they came to be ordered. It looks as if this matter required clearing up, and after you have studied the two memos. in question, I should be glad to have your views and recommendations. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Enc.
