Outlining the procedure for employees to register for Military Service in 1941.

The following men will register for Military Service on

January 18th 1941.

All men born between January 1st and June 30th 1908 both dates inclusive.

The usual procedure for registration will take place, as above, forms being sent in tp Miss Summerfield by January 15th 1941.

NOTE Each man who registers must bring with him his National Registration Identity Card.

The outlying stations such as Belper, Nottingham, Long Eaton, Slack Lane etc., have the option of registering at the works or at their nearest local Labour Exchange. When sending the completed forms in to Miss Summerfield, will the supervisors of the outlying places, please state on the back of each individual's form, the place where he intends to register.

In the recent registrations which have taken place at the works many men have been as late as 12 o'clock on Saturday and even then, have not had from their foremen the particulars which should have reached this office by the Wednesday preceeding registration date at the latest.

If these instructions are not carried out, the whole scheme whereby the saving of working time is aimed at, is entirely nullified. Please treat this as urgent.
