25th June 1926

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.
Derby.

Dear Sirs,

You will doubtless recollect that some time ago you enquired of us as to the distribution in other countries which we could offer for our "Shell" Motor Oils.

At that time we were unable to offer anything like the same service as the world-wide-success Shell Lubricants now enables us to do and we are, therefore, advising you of the present position in view of the fact that your cars are to be seen in so many different countries. In some of the districts where they are observed we believe we are in a peculiarly favourable position to offer thorough distribution of reliable oil, owing to the fact that these are handled through our own or associated organisations not only at main ports but in the interior districts also. This we may point out is in some markets, particularly in the East, of very real importance owing to the grave possibility in such regions of adulteration on the part of native chauffeurs, etc.

"Shell" Motor Oils of the same high qualities as sold in this country are now distributed by our associated Organisations in the following countries:-

France
Hungary
Switzerland
Austria
Spain
Holland
Portugal
Baltic States (Riga area)
Finland
Gibraltar
Germany
Greece
Italy
Malta
Scandinavia
Jugoslavia

British India
Egypt
Ceylon
Palestine
Java
Sudan
Phillipine Islands
Syria
Straits Settlements
Tunis
China
U.S.A
Japan
South and East Africa
Australia.
