Origin: To increase efficiency of Fan consistently. Experimental Test Report: Increased efficiency of fan reduces tendency for water to boil. Road Test Report: Fitted on 18.G.IV. and ran 10,000 miles. Stretched and required adjustment after 8,000 miles. It gave no other trouble and is free from causing any periods. [X] A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers. [ ] B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works. [ ] C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test. [ ] D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis. Weight of Old Part.
