FROM THE FACTORY'S SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE

May 16th 1933

LID{A. J. Lidsey}

Dear Mr Hives,

Very many thanks for your letter of May 15th. I am very pleased to hear that you are satisfied with the silence of the tyres I left with you. I note that at the moment there is nothing you would like to discuss with Mr Worth, but if & when there is you will advise me.

I am asking the factory to send you another set of the Special Tyres as soon as possible. As regards the last paragraph of your letter, I am asking Mr Worth to reply to you direct on this point, as he is of course our expert in these matters of manufacture. I presume you mean our "Super Non Skid" tyre when you say "Standard production" & not our "Standard" tyre which is a medium priced 4ply Cover.

Please don't hesitate to let me know at once if at any time I can be of service to you. I shall be delighted to call upon you at Derby at any time most convenient to you.

Yrs sincerely Rother
