RE "LIMPET".

You will have seen from a memo from Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} that the firm of Messrs J.W. Roberts Ltd, of Leeds will give a demonstration of the Limpet Process on Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car 104-MY at Messrs Barkers Works on Wednesday next March 8th at 3 pm.

We shall then arrange for them to bring their portable plant to Derby to do a body for you, free of charge as already agreed. We think we should do a car which we have already had on the road, and of which we know something of the booming propensities. We suggest one of the two Close Coupled Saloon Per.2. that you have.

We would arrange for Messrs Park Ward's men to remove any of the trimming and upholstery that may be necessary. This would be quite easy. Will you please let us know by return which car you can spare and when we can arrange for the work to be done.

With respect to the Bensport Saloon which we have in hand, we shall try to get this done, but so far it means bringing a heavy portable plant down from Leeds. There is no plant in London. The aim of the makers is to rent plants at £50 per annum to firms. They will not put up a plant of their own in London. This is rather a difficulty as until the process has been tested we can hardly expect one of our coachbuilders to buy a plant or rent one. We think that we may be able to persuade Messrs Park Ward & Co to do so.
