Your Ref. Les/PSL/P. Our Ref. 34/EC/DD. 21st February, 1940. Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, We are surprised to note from your letter of the 16th instant that you had only arranged to return the Model 3339 Oscillograph, which was urgently required, at the earliest two weeks after the original demonstration, notwithstanding that we specially requested your Mr. Childs to return the instrument the next day. We would remind you that this instrument was not loaned to you, but was sent to enable the undersigned to demonstrate on the occasion of his recent visit. In view of the shortage of instruments and the urgency with which we required this particular model, we do not think you have dealt fairly with us in this case. Yours faithfully, For and on behalf of A.C. COSSOR, LTD. (E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Cattanes) Manager, Instrument Dept. When replying please quote reference | ||
