Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 24th. together with accompanying letter from the Magnolia Anti-Friction Metal Co.Ltd., which you received.

The bearing shells which we require metalling with the N.S.5 were despatched to you from our Works yesterday.

These are required as soon as possible for further tests and in response to the P.S. of the letter from the Magnolia Anti Friction Metal Co. we only agree to you holding up the lining of the bearings on condition that they are going to effect some improvement in the corrosion trouble. It is very important that we should know as much as possible about this corrosion, also as to the particular oil (if any) which is best for this metal.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
