When we fit the Borg & Beck clutch we are
able to leave off the propeller shaft damper. As far as
we can ascertain the approximate amount saved on these
items, i.e. the propeller shaft damper and clutch, is as
follows :-

Cost of Present Bentley Clutch N.Sch.3948. £. s. d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}

Material and labour - 6 - 19 - 8
Overheads - 5 - 2 - 0

£12 - 1 - 8d.

Cost of Borg & Beck arrangement. £. s. d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}

Flywheel - 2 - 0 - 0 approx.
Clutch - 2 - 5 - 0
Overheads - 1 - 9 - 6
------------
£5 - 14 - 6d.

Saving in cost £6-7-2d. added to which is propeller shaft damper £2-10-10d.
Total £8-17-8d.
