With reference to the modified wheel drivers to EX.25109/A which are now to be standardised to reduce knocking, we send herewith N.Sch.4935 referred to in the above memo, and not previously issued. Fig.2 on this scheme shows the original design from which EX.25109/A was made, but there is no need to work to the N.Sch. as there are Ex.details of all the pieces and all that has to be done is to make an allowance for spline wear in the hub as mentioned in the Experimental Department memo. It will be found that the diametrical clearance between the boss of the driver and the axle tube has been increased from .012 on EX.25109 to .032 on EX.25109A.
