DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 1st. inst., re self-lubricating bushes and as you say, we have supplied these for a considerable number of years to the various Tramways.

We would say that we were the first manufacturers of these Bushes but some time ago we decided to discontinue manifacturing and we now obtain our supplies from Messrs. British Bound Brook Bearing Co., Ltd. Birch Road Witton, Birmingham.

There is really no secret whatever in the bushes as you will see from the sample which we have sent you under separate cover. The lubrication is flake graphite mixed with sufficient shellac to form a binder.

We shall be very pleased to give you any further information you may require on this subject and would take this opportunity of enclosing a few of our pamphlets, showing our various productions which might be of interest to you.

Yours faithfully,
