6011 To By/TWD.{T. W. D???Aeith} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.1/JH.23.2.37. Confirming our conversation of Saturday morning regarding the experimental fitting of the A.C. Speedometer to a Bentley car for test, will you please arrange to issue to us the necessary details to enable us to run the speedometer on an experimental Bentley chassis. The details required will be new speedometer gears to give 1001 revs. per mile, and modified screwed adaptor piece to which a standard A.C. drive can be secured. The details of the screw thread for this latter piece are attached herewith. We should like to have this fitted as soon as possible as Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} is anxious to get this speedometer tested. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. | ||
