Cassel} SINGLE CYLINDER BENTLEY. Further to memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}9/JH.22.2.39, the position of the various items enumerated does not appear to have altered appreciably. (1) Replacement valve seat in No.4 head completed O.K. (2) Two new cylinder heads instructed By/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design}16/G.5.10.38 are still incomplete, though requested for the end of last month. we should be very glad if you would endeavour to complete these parts as soon as possible. (3) Extension pieces for Farnborough indicator valve instructed Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}8/JH.20.2.39. These have been almost completed, but appear to have stopped on the final machining stages. We should be very glad if you would complete these parts at an early date as they are urgently required. (4) Modifications to valve gear instructed By/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design}2/AW. 15.2.39.
