Messrs Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr. Child.

Dear Sirs,

Many thanks for your communication of the 21st of this month, in further reference to the 4-cylinder Distributor, and we are pleased to note that you are able to accommodate our 406601 type bracket.

We are accordingly arranging for a Distributor to be built up incorporating this bracket, also with a moulded cover having the leads coming out horizontally etc. in accordance with your Drawing No.RD1984, and we hope to sent this to you in the course of the next few days.

We are investigating the question of the starter drive with the special rubbers mentioned in the last paragraph of your letter, and will advise you more fully in regard to these in the course of a post or so.

Yours faithfully,
JOSEPH LUCAS LTD.

Technical Sales Department.
