x3678 ILLSLEY COMPANY PRECISION AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT DETROIT OFFICE: WEBSTER HALL HOTEL PHONE: COLUMBIA 0100 TELEPHONE 327-119 MUSKEGON MICHIGAN June 12th 1934 Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Rolls Royce Ltd. Derby, ENGLAND Dear Mr. Robotham;- Pursuant to your kind offer last Spring, to pass on the suggestion to a British firm you had in mind, that they consider the question of obtaining a license to bring out our Closed Radiation system, etc, we have been expecting to hear further thereon from you or them. No word having come, we assume a letter has miscarried in transit, and hence are writing to enquire. Also you will no doubt be interested in knowing that General Motors, who last Spring adopted our system on their newest type buses (where for certain reasons a severe problem had to be met), are so pleased by the complete cure which resulted, as to have already advised us informally that they intend to extend its application until all their models, both bus and truck, are included. Appreciating your interest, and awaiting further word from you, we are, Very truly yours, ILLSLEY COMPANY [Signature] | ||
