Many thanks for your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.1/M.9.3.35.

I have today received a visit from Field, the Duke of Kent's Head chauffeur, regarding the question of interference experienced by him with the Wireless installation fitted to the above car.

I understand from him that Messrs.Philco assert that they have tracked down the interference to the voltage controller and that they wish to shield the voltage controller completely in a metal box.

I have told Field that in view of the situation generally regarding Wireless installations, and remembering that this particular car is of great importance to the Company, I cannot sanction anything of this sort or any tampering with the standard electrical installation without your consent.

Perhaps you would look into the matter and let me have your views.

According to Field, the Philco representative interested in H.R.H's car is Mr.Knight.
