35-EX.

We have the following note from Hancock this morning :-

"I tried this car again this morning. I am aware that you are up against it re clutches, but I am sorry to state that the clutch on the above car is not passable. It would be turned down by owners for squeak, and quite possibly for jaggering when any quick take-up is made. Personally I don't see any gain in continuing running this clutch in the condition it has got into".

In view of this fact we are bringing 35-EX back to the Works for examination of the clutch.

It was some satisfaction to hear Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}'s remarks at the last Conference, that on the whole they had had little cause for apprehension with the trials cars.
