[Handwritten] F.{Mr Friese} Dodd. You heard G.W.H. say that the breather pipe was not fitted to 32.E.X. Do we think that one was fitted to 34 E.X? In any case, we should prepare a proper breather pipe & give it to Archer to let him fit next time in Town. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}- [Handwritten Margin] S/W. The road is a very fast one, and except for the humpback bridges, is one permitting easily a speed of 90 m.p.h. and along which it is not likely that anyone would be travelling with the shock absorber control set to the soft position. Re smell of petrol, the car is away to-day, and I do not think Hancock will be able to see it. If not, can you tell us what we ought to do to the breather pipe to make it O.K. and stop the smell of petrol ? [Handwritten Signature] Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} Luck | ||
