Depot Sheet Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}371. Armature Fuse. The supplying of the new armature fuse will not, from my investigation, be an all round cure. While in Paris I ascertained that the chief trouble apart from the faulty soldering of the glass cartridge, is the flimsy clips holding the fuse cartridge. The clips open out and do not make a good connection. This causes heating up and melts the solder, finally causing a faulty connection of the fuse wire. This explains the reason previously reported that the non charging of the dynamo comes about during the time when all lamps etc are on. Attention should be given to the clips as well as the cartridge. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
