C.2. SERIES - DAMPERS ON FRONT BRAKE DRUMS.

X8420
K4612

Replying to BY15/H20.12.26. From our test we believe that the .025" shoulder will be sufficient to keep the brake drum dampers in position.

We have revolved a wheel fitted with these dampers at a speed equal to 110 m.p.h. and there was no sign of the dampers leaving the drum. This means that there is a bigger margin than there is on the dampers fitted to the rear of the 20 HP.
