Request to manufacture two stiffening plates for bonnet fasteners on an aluminium bonnet, referencing a modified drawing.

BONNET FASTENERS - 4.B.50.

Will you please make up two stiffening plates to EB.4984 for the bonnet fasteners on the above chassis in .104" gauge alum. These are required as this bonnet is in alum and for spot welding alum stiffeners will be necessary. Otherwise the fasteners will have to be rivetted in position with resultant difficulties in maintaining the quality of the paintwork. The taper of the plates should also be omitted and they should be left parallel.

A modified drawing has been issued to cover this.
