(1) 32-EX.

Standardisation sheets are in circulation for:-

(a) Overdrive gearbox.
(b) Solid Rocker gears.
(c) Palmetto water pump gland.
(d) Cheapened front wing fixing.
(e) Hardened washer for pinion brg.
(f) Adjustable bearings for radiator shutters.
(g) Large tube front dampers to reduce noise.
(h) A few other small modifications to reduce cost.

(2) BEARINGS.

The labour involved in fitting Hall's Metal big-ends to a customer's car is about £15. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} has cost figures for introducing these big-ends on production.

(3) EXHAUST.

Considerable development expense would be required to improve the P.III exhaust system.
