WINDAGE.
= Total T.R. - Rolling T.R.
(1) = 172 - (30 x Wt. of Car) = 172 - 45 = 127
(2) = 150 - (30 x Wt. of Car) = 150 - 45 = 105
K = Windage T.R. / M.P.H.²
(1) K = 127 / 75² = .0227
(2) K = 105 / 65² = .0346
Mean K = .024
At 110 M.P.H. windage = 290
Total T.R. = 290 + 45 = 335
Velocity 161 ft/sec.
H.P. = (161 x 335) / 550 = 98 B.H.P.
If speedometer 5 M.P.H. fast at 80, max. speed will be 104 M.P.H.
