Copy to C.S.R., to join E.F. memo. ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED, NIGHTINGALE ROAD, DERBY. TELEGRAMS: "ROYCAR," DERBY. TELEPHONES: 813 (Two Lines). DEPARTMENTAL MEMO. This column is for Name of Person addressed Date. purposes. We rather like these. COTTON FABRIC CLUTCH, ¼", very satisfactory. R.B.F. ball bearings fitted throughout, to Gear box, Axle and hubs. There did not seem to be any advantage gained by fitting same as I had tried this Gear box before these bearings were fitted the nasty harsh noise of the side shaft being as bad as before. The gears under power were worse and appeared to have quite a different noise to our usual boxes. FRAME TRUSSES FIXED:- These are not the latest type but the one you originally supplied. The frame trusses on 1731 ( the car you had at Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence ) appear to have been very satisfactory the body is quite free from any door rattles etc and the lining up of the Contd.
