The hole for the rocker washer tab in the flange piece on the gearbox, with the larger propeller shaft, has been so positioned on the detail, that it breaks through the boss at the rear of the flange and looks ugly. This has been done in order to use a common drilling jig for both rear axle and gear box flanges. In order to retain this feature and avoid the breaking through, we have made G.CD.//oherewith, shewing a modified boss for the gear box flange piece. Detail required, for introduction as soon as possible without scrap. FJH{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
