Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} x7430 To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}3/BE15.12.33. STEERING WORMS We have again repeated the tests on the .720 lead and .940 lead Steering Worms, as indicated by attached Figures. The tests on the .720 lead are present production Steering Worms. The previous tests were on an experimental Steering Worm which was produced some time ago, and it will be observed that the relative efficiencies are somewhat lower on the latest figures, than those submitted previously. With regard to the .940 lead, we have taken some Steering Worms from the Repair Stock, and it will be seen that in this case, the efficiencies are somewhat higher, than those submitted on the .940 lead recently manufactured.
