(15) We are developing simplified heating schemes for saloon cars. (16) Tyre tests are being made to produce a satisfactory Avon tyre for noise and cornering ability. (17) We are producing a reserve petrol tap on the tank that can be electrically operated by a switch on the instrument board. (18) Fuel economy is continuing to receive attention. A duplex induction pipe is being developed to give high gas velocity at low speeds and yet effective breathing at high speeds.
