Coil temperature after 1 1/2 hrs run on battery ignition.
Primary winding 120°C
Secondary winding 102°C
It was found that the 40/50 HP chassis required to be run longer than the 20 HP to allow the coil temperature to settle down to its approx final value.
The two most important tests for comparison are Nos. 3 and 6 which demonstrate the fact
