Details instructed are the Crankshaft EB.4843 and the Camshaft EB.4833 and Conn Rods EB.4847/8. It should be noted that these rods ar similar to standard with the exception of being .375 longer, it should also be noted that to produce these rods we asked if there was an existing die available which could be modified. As stated in HPS. {Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} 6/VS. {J. Vickers} 26.4.39 there has been a definite promise made for the completion of the first 3 boxes which is the middle of May, and is definitely stated by HPS {Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} that this promise is to be kept. B.60 Cylinder Head modified Combustion Chamber Valve seat raised .125. Code BC.6/3. Three of the above are instructed, one has been completed and is fitted to B.60 No.1. AG was requested to place the other two heads in bond for the time being without any further machining being done. Bentley 60 Cylinder Head PD.368 Sloping Valves with large throat. <s>PD.378 Valve Mechanism. to same BC.6/3.</s> AG. stated that the casting would be available on the 8th, and anticipates completing all the details by the 21st. Autolock Shock Dampers SCD.1180 BA.55/2. LK {L. King} promised to have all details completed by the end of the week. Front Shock Dampers. Alum Casings. BA.55/5. Details instructed 24.3.39 and are required for fitment to 14.B.V. Will LK. {L.
