Re Experimental Exhaust Manifolds.

With reference to your memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}5/MA.15.2.32 and our Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/VA26/RC.{R. Childs}10.2.32 we are pleased to give you rhe following information.

Chassis N°4-LC.
We fitted to this car a set of sliding joint Type Manifolds, the car has now been returned to Sevres by the owner who states that the Manifolds have given and are giving every satisfaction, the car has covered 20.000 Kms. (12,500 miles)

Chassis N°119-MC.
As this car should have now covered a fair mileage since we fitted the above Type Manifolds, we are today writing to the owner, who promised to let us have the necessary information, and as soon as we receive a reply we will communicate with you.

With regard to the other cars on which we have fitted the above type manifolds, these we think can be considered as satisfactory, as we have not received any complaints.
