We have had several cases where the Wraith steer-ing has tightened up due to the bottom bush in the pivot partially seizing. The load on this bush is greater than that of our other cars as Hardy has demonstrated in the attached report. As a matter of fact, the bottom of the pivot has always been a source of concern to us as the plain journal bearing is likely to tighten up if the driver forgets to press the Bijur lubrication for a couple of days. We should like consideration to be given to putting a needle roller bearing journal in at this point, and should be glad if you would arrange for someone to investigate, in case we do not succeed in overcoming the trouble by attacking materials only.
