PRESSED STEEL BRAKE SHOES

When we visited the Lockheed people yesterday, we found that they are going to the pressed steel shoe, as they have found similar disadvantages in the aluminium shoe, to those we have reported.

We do not know whether you have talked the matter over with R.{Sir Henry Royce} but we think that the subject should receive attention if he agrees.

If you want us to do any further tests, will you let us know, as at the present we are concentrating on Peregrine.
