The scheme may want some slight adjustments as regards relative position of one piece with another, but it gives you particulars of the actual details to be used in completing the controls. Slight modifications are required to the rear end of the dash-board controls N.scheme 987, consisting of a small increase in the length of the levers, a slight adjustment of the position of the levers and the use of a fork instead of a ball joint on one of them. This latter point is dependent on the position of the instrument board being standardised for B. and D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} steerings, to the particulars given on N.sch. 987.

Should it be necessary at any time to slope the control shaft from the instrument board it will be necessary to use 2 ball joints on the inner end.

To adapt LeC.1506 to the longitudinal control shaft for the throttle already on the engine, it will be necessary to shorten this particular unit roughly .750 ins.

We expect that this can be done without altering the control bracket facing on the crank-case simply by making a bracket with a base bent round looking towards the rear of the chassis, instead of towards the front.

We should be glad if you will carry out this alteration in Derby.
