STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.
Date 23.9.26
X No. 7420

Description of Parts: FRONT AXLE.
Origin: To reduce weight.
Drawing No.
Part List: G74294

Experimental Test Report:
Due to the altered trans-verse pivot inclination and improved pivot pin bearings, the steering with this axle is lighter. This is most noticeable with low pressure tyres.

Road Test Report:
This axle was fitted to 12-EX and ran 10,000 miles in France.
There was no mechanical failure during the test. We consider it to be an improvement to the present axle.
Fitted to 8-EX and 7-EX.
