Mr. W.A. Robotham,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

16th December/1937.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

Thanks for your letter to hand this morning, also £1. 0. 0. enclosure.

As regards carburetters, providing you can take more or less our standard production, which from the point of view of efficiency are every bit as good, if not better, than those we are supplying to you, I can meet the situation. There is, however, a difficulty regarding the 1 5/8", for which we have no die.

I think that I shall also be able to manage to meet you on Petrol Pumps. This depends, however, very greatly on what your final requirements are as regards output.

As regards the thermostarter carburetter, it would save trouble if you could let us have the induction pipe with the thermostarter apparatus already fitted. Experimentally, of course, this is bound to be a lash up but it will be quite good enough for test purposes. Can you send this over with the car?

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
