X6141 RMC. E c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY.7/G.4.1.33. WST See me Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} PEREGRINE. Referring to the last item on page 4 of E.1/HP.29.12.32. viz. Improved Instrument Patch to instructions given in BY/RD.2/W.22.11.32, this has been included in error, as the modifications to the instrument patch outlined in BY/RD's memo were only in the form of a temporary scheme to enable us to see by a Laboratory experiment whether the lighting would defuse sufficiently under the new proposal. In view of this, therefore would you kindly note that the third chassis should be fitted with a 20/25 production patch. The temporary patch referred to in BY/RD's memo was not confined to the Peregrine, but was intended to cover certain proposals we had in mind for all three chassis, and it is therefore important that this should be finished off and handed over for test. We are being pressed by Sales to improve the lighting on the Phantom, and the first step towards this improvement is the completion of the scheme outlined in BY/RD's memo. BY.{R.W.
