RUDGE-WHITWORTH DETACHABLE WHEELS WITH LATEST AUTOMATIC LOCKING DEVICE. X.421.

Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}
Mr.Matthews. 27.1.15.

Please note Mr. Royce remarks re this experiment:-

"The fact of this work being about for twelve months either shows that it is being neglected, or that it is not wanted. I do not really understand what the object of it is, as I should have thought we had been using Rudge-Whitworth detachable wheels on cars and selling them to customers, and they (the ones mentioned) could have been used up on some trials car before twelve months had passed. Would these particular wheels do for car 49 GB?"
