Dear Sirs, Re your favour of the 11th. instant, we have now heard from our Tyre Technical Department, and it is found that there is no standard rim section in existence with a dimension of 5" between the tyre beads entirely suitable for the 7.00 tyre, but our Tyre Technical Department agree to our supplying, for experimental purposes only, a set of wheels specially made up with the 5.00 rim section, which is used in conjunction with extra low pressure tyres. Such rims would be made up in 18" diameter, and provided that care and attention is given to the selection and fitting of the tyres it is thought they should meet your experimental purposes. These rims would have to be practically hand made, and the wheels specially built, and they would cost you an extra £3. per wheel over and above the present standard wheel charges. If you desire to have a tyre of greater section, we are informed that the 7.5" tyre produced for you some time ago is still available.
