DIAMOND ENGINE MOUNTING.

The points of greatest importance on the Diamond engine mounting are the rear feet and and front torque reaction dampers. If the rubbers are compressed too much on the rear feet it is likely to cause booms. The free lengths of the rubbers should be such that there should be no compression on them when the engine is in position.

The torque reaction damper load we have used has been about 3 lbs., we have always tried to use the lightest load that is consistent with the elimination of the torque reaction.
