On the 28th June 1940 Messrs H & E Paulson, Road Transport Contractors of the Garage, Annesley Road, Hucknall, Notts carried from Portsmouth to Hucknall a Spitfire Wing which was eventually delivered to you at Belper. The Transport contractors charge for bringing this wing from Portsmouth amounts to £10/0/0d and we shall be obliged if you will furnish us with the following information to enable us to pass this account for payment. (a). Date and number of G/R booking the Spitfire Wing into the Factory. (b). Name and address of senders. (c). Details of the full consignment. (d).
