To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from EFC. c. By/WER. c. Mr. Brock. X4079.a EFC1/T15.3.22. X.4079 - GOSHAWK BATTERY IGNITION COILS. We are satisfied from experimental bench tests of one of the coils received, made up to instructions contained in By/WER9/EF28.2.22, and By/WER2/EF3.3.22, that this arrangement of the coil is better than the present arrangement, to which 6 coils have been made, and therefore think that further coils should now be made up in this manner. I notice that Mr. Robinson has instructed that four coils should be made. We consider that these other coils should be completed and then the previous half dozen coils converted, if expedient, to this new arrangement of winding. EFC. | ||
