X1332 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}20/KW. 27th March, 1936. Messrs. Dunlop Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, Birmingham. For the attention of Mr. Healey. Dear Sirs, We want to obtain figures of the "cornering power" of various sizes of tyres at different inflation pressures and fitted to varying rim widths. We wonder whether you have such figures, or would be willing to carry out the necessary experiments to determine the conditions for optimum cornering power. Figures are obtainable in the U.S.A. for American wheels and inflation pressures, but we have never seen any published in England. We will let you have all the information we have on the subject. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
