Description of Parts.
ADJUSTING SCREW FOR CROSS STEERING ROD BALL JOINTS.
Origin.
To provide more clearance between adjusting screw head and wheel.
Experimental Test Report.
This new screw has the square for turning formed in a recess instead of being formed on the end of the screw. It is similar to the 40/50 screw. These new screws are essential if discs are fitted to the wire wheels.
Road Test Report.
Fitted to 4-G-11 - run 1000 miles.
Fitted to 3-G-11 - run 300 miles.
This alteration cannot effect the running or reliability.
