Please receive herewith:- Lec.3959 oil filter for auto adjusting tappets. This is mounted on one of the cylinder block covers and consists of a Tecalemit oil cleaner element, and a non return ball valve. It may be found advisable with this filter in the system to increase the spring pressure in the relief valve unit. We have ordered the Tecalemit filter as we want to know the internal dimensions for the fitting of the various pieces. We show an alternative filter which is interchangeable made with gauze.
