Formula to calculate the air temperature required for boiling at a specific altitude.

But t₁ + T₀ = 100

∴ t₁ = 100 - T₀

∴ T = (B - 100 - T₀) / d

Hence, from this formula, for any given set of conditions the air temp. to boil at any altitude may be found, knowing the air temp. to boil at sea-level.

Attached are three sheets - one showing variations of boiling point, air temperature and relative air density with altitude, the next showing variation of temp. to boil figure with altitudes, for three different cases, and the third showing variation of seal level air temperatures necessary for boiling to take place at given altitude.
