The drums quickly contract however on releasing the brake and after running about a mile the clearance is normal again. I am now anxious to try the air cooled drums which I requested a week ago. If these drums are efficient as regards cooling the Ferodo should make a good brake. I would like the Ferodo to be pressed much harder than at present. This may entail making smaller sections but there is no objection to this. I think broader brakes would give better results with this material as it is inclined to spread slightly. | ||
