PHILCO CAR RADIO
CONTROL UNIT

STANDARD DASHBOARD MOUNTING (HALF ACTUAL SIZE).

THE NEW PHILCO TWO-KNOB CONTROL UNIT is compact and unobtrusive yet sturdy in design. It is very universal of application and can, for example
(1) Be fitted under the lip of the dashboard.
(2) Be fitted on to the steering column (for which a special bracket and extra long cables are available).
(3) Be built in to match the other instruments on the dashboard (for which purpose oval, round or special shaped escutcheon plates are available).
(4) Be built in to the inside trim of coach-built bodies.
This new control unit enables Philco Car Radio to become an integral part of the car—not an "after-thought"—a feature of special appeal to car manufacturers when considering original equipment.

This new Philco Control Unit is in smartly styled brown camera crinkle finish, which harmonises with any car interior. The unit has only two knobs—the Right which operates the station selector, the Left which regulates the volume and operates the wave change switch. Wave changing is effected by pulling out the knob and turning to the right for long wave reception, or to the left for medium wave reception. The On and Off switch is operated by a small lever above the wide vision dial—the light indicating when the set is switched on.
